Why did I even bother?
Last year, when the Mrs. and I ventured out on BF, not only did we manage to make it home in one piece, we also got every single item we quested after (It satiated my inner loot-whore quite nicely). It was this nice, pleasant experience that led me (Mistakenly) to believe that this year, what with the economy in the shoddy state that it's in, our day could only turn out the same, or better. Fuck me, was I wrong: T-day was pretty craptacular this year. My grandmother is getting up there, and with her illness and sordid lifestyle, the years have finally caught up with her. The food was sub-par at best (Except for my wife's: She rocked out with her...well, it was good). To make matters worse, our family relations are not exactly as good as they should be, so we ended up spending most of the day just hanging around feeling like we weren't wanted. It's roughly the size of, and shaped like, a brick. Or a PS2phat. The only reason I even needed one is because we don't watch TV, we wait for someone else to do our TiVoing for us, and snatch what we want to see when they decide to share. Needless, HDD space is a precious commodity. Once the doors were opened, the line moved quick. Once we were inside, we tried to take the wide aisle to electronics,...
